The team
Our writers come from backgrounds in long-form journalism, academic game studies, indie development, and competitive play. Every piece carries a byline and a public credential history. We rotate review assignments so no single critic builds an outsized influence on our scoring.
How we work
Reviews are written after a minimum of 20 hours with the game (more for RPGs and live-service titles). We separate “first impressions” from “verdict” — and we re-review games whose live-service shape changes meaningfully after launch.
